Kris Aquino would rather not comment on Isabel Oli, the actress being linked to her husband James Yap. "In the same way that I would hate for James to have an opinion about anybody who comes into my life in the future, I have no opinion whatsoever, out of respect. Because ayaw ko na pakikialaman nila ako sa buhay ko later on. So, ayaw kong makialam sa life nila ngayon," she says.

Celebrities cheered for photographer Mark Nicdao as he marked another milestone in his colorful career through a book launch and photo exhibit held last night, March 6, at the Fashion Walk of Greenbelt 5 in Makati City.

Huge photos of celebrities taken by Mark were displayed at the venue and were available for "silent bidding" by interested buyers. The proceeds will be then turned over to the chosen charity of the photographed celebrity.

The event also marked the launch of Mark's limited edition book-zine titled Vantage, which has eight covers to choose from: Kris Aquino, John Lloyd Cruz, Jericho Rosales, Marian Rivera, Sarah Geronimo, Solenn Heussaff, Cristine Reyes, and one featuring four 'It' girls: Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, KC Concepcion, and Angel Locsin.

Among these celebrity covers, Kris, Jericho, Solenn, Bea, Anne, KC, and Angel were present last night to get a firsthand look at his compilation of celebrity photos from 2003 to the present.

Anne was escorted by her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff, the brother of Solenn. Kim Chiu and Jed Madela took the time to attend the event, as did Preview fashion editor Liz Uy.

Other guests present were Gutierrez siblings Ruffa, Richard, and Raymond as well as GMA-7 stars Lovi Poe, Michelle Madrigal, and Bianca King. Georgina Wilson and Carla Humphries also graced the occasion that ended before midnight last night.

KRIS ON JAMES & ISABEL. When PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the media interviewed Kris during the event, she gave her reaction to reports linking her husband James Yap to GMA-7 actress Isabel Oli.

Sinabi ko sa kanya, 'Ako, I respect your privacy.' Tapos sinabi niya sa akin, 'Anong respect my privacy, e, sa iyo nga nanggaling 'yon? Ikaw ang nauna!'

"Sabi ko, 'Hindi, ha!' Sabi ko, 'Kung ayaw n'yong pinag-uusapan, huwag kang labas nang labas kung saan-saan.' Sabi niya sa akin, 'Alam mo, ikaw, di ka pa rin nagbabago.' Sabi ko, 'Kung nagbago ako, hindi na ako si Kris!'"

When asked to give her opinion about Isabel, Kris declined to comment.

"You know, in the same way that I would hate for James to have an opinion about anybody who comes into my life in the future, I have no opinion whatsoever, out of respect. Because ayaw ko na pakikialaman nila ako sa buhay ko later on. So, ayaw kong makialam sa life nila ngayon."

Kris then revealed that she can accept any woman who becomes involved with James as long as she fulfills her one requirement.

"Ako, isa lang ang criteria: mahalin si Bimby [Baby James]. Kung mamahalin si Bimby, anybody na mamahalin si James—I mean yung sincere, ha, huwag lang magpaka-wicked stepmother—puwede kong i-best friend."

She pointed out: "The children benefit talaga when the parents are friends."

The TV host-actress, who has consistently denied rumors linking her to Makati Mayor Junjun Binay, said that she is not looking for her own lovelife for now.

"My family is not ready. Hindi sila ready, so hindi rin ako ready. Masunurin lang ako. Hindi sila handa. Mahahanda lang sila sa June 30, 2016 kapag nag-step down si Pnoy [her brother, President Noynoy Aquino]. So let's wait," said Kris.

VACATION PLANS WITH HER SONS. For her Holy Week vacation, Kris is looking forward to an 18-day vacation with her two sons, Josh and Baby James.

"We'll be going to the States, then Mexican cruise. Birthday kasi yun ni Bimby [Baby James] at pinapili ko siya kung ano ang gusto niya. The two boys really love cruises," she said with a smile.
