(CLICK HERE to read related story.)
Ayon kay Giselle, nasorpresa siya na gusto raw ni Illac "to blow this issue out of proportion."
"If he was really worried about his reputation, he would have just waited for me to print the truth. But now he's going around town telling everyone about it. I guess he realized that it was free publicity," sabi ni Giselle.
Aniya, "I had a very high regard for Illac and his projects. But after this FB message, he clearly does not have any respect for women and all he loves is himself."
"I am very surprised that Mr. Illac Diaz wants to blow this issue out of proportion.
"First of all, he already called me in my cellphone and I promised to air his side and the truth in my entertainment column in Manila Bulletin which will come out next Wednesday.
"If he was really worried about his reputation, he would have just waited for me to print the truth. But now he's going around town telling everyone about it. I guess he realized that it was free publicity.
"Honestly I was very hurt with what he wrote in my facebook:
I just saw your article on the triangle allegation on line and I just want to say what a bunch of crap you seem to be spewing out just because you get paid to write something on your column. Is it when you have nothing to write, you have to make things up because it makes the stomach churn to feed yourself with such ill-earned money. There is no church barnstorming and no fights. Keep the dirt on your side of the fence. So keep your yellow journalism, and let me work in peace. - Illac Diaz
"Is this the response of an educated and cultured man?
"I had a very high regard for Illac and his projects. But after this FB message, he clearly does not have any respect for women and all he loves is himself.
"I will just pray for him.
"My message to him is: Illac, read the Bible: 'When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.'
"'(Proverbs 11:1-3) Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who are humble.'"
