Without Cesar Montano by her side, Sunshine Cruz can easily be mistaken as a very-single lady with her svelte figure.
At 34, and with three kids at that—Angeline Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Francheska— she has managed to maintain her beauty.
"You just have to know paano alagaan sarili mo," she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the launch of BlackBerry Playbook.
Marriage and motherhood, she says, should not change the way you look and take care of yourself.
"Mas nagiging challenge lang kasi sabay-sabay minsan. But don't forget yung time para sa sarili mo."
Her regimen is plain and simple. "Gentle facial wash para sa face, and a cold cream to remove makeup. That's it!"
As for staying fit, it seems effortless for the former actress. "I really don't know bakit gano'n," she exclaimed, also wondering how she maintains her weight.
Shine said, "I don't exercise. I eat what I want to eat. I eat pork and beef. Pero hindi naman ako yung tumataba."
Then, pausing for a few seconds, she remembered the "tried and tested" secret of most beautiful people.
"Siguro, just be happy always," the wife of Cesar said. "After changing my outlook in life, after making it positive, ayun."
She and her husband have weathered a lot of storms. But in the end, they found a way to patch things up and strengthen their marriage.
Lastly, she quipped, "Kung may problems lang, just leave it all up to God."
