After successfully portraying Mara in ABS-CBN's remake of Mara Clara, Kathryn Bernardo is reportedly being considered to reprise another character originally portrayed by Judy Ann Santos—the upcoming remake of Esperanza.
When asked for her reaction, Kathryn was visibly excited during the thanksgiving presscon of Mara Clara held yesterday, May 25, at the 9501 restaurant in the ABS-CBN compound.
But she clarified that there has been no formal offer for her to do the role.
Is Kathryn willing to have her career patterned after Judy Ann Santos?
FINALE WEEK OF MARA CLARA. The hit show Mara Clara will air its finale by June 3.
Kathryn expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped them achieve a successful run.
Do they feel that they were able to match the expectations of people considering that the original series starred Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes?
One of the most talked about scenes in the show was when Jhong Hilario's character beat Kathryn up.
"Talagang inaalagaan niya kami."
ON THEIR UPCOMING FILM. Kathryn and Julia will portray sisters in an upcoming movie, which will be directed by Jerry Sineneng.
They say that the movie will focus on family conflicts.
Kathryn will still be paired with Albie while Julia's love interest will be Sam Concepcion.
Is Kathryn willing to do a kissing scene with Albie for this movie?
Does Kathryn believe that she and her co-stars can already headline their own movie?
"Kinakabahan po ako," she admits.
"Actually, sa first shooting day ko hindi ko alam kung gaano ako kakabahan kasi iba raw po talaga pag movies.
"Doble po ang pressure sa amin."
What is her reaction to the fact that Diego Loyzaga is not included in their upcoming film?
Aside from working on their movie, Kathryn, Julia, and Albie will also be appearing in ABS-CBN's mini-series Your Song.
Kathryn will be in her fourth year of high school this coming June.
She says that she is thinking about studying Advertising or Mass Communication in college.
