Call him "unkaboggable" now because even Kylie Monogue didn't miss the presence of Vice Ganda in a jampacked crowd.
After a successful solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum last July 1, the host-comedian returned to the Big Dome last night, July 5, for the Australian pop singer's Aphrodite concert.
And Vice Ganda came prepared.
He donned a blue and silver ensemble designed by Kenneth Chua, with a headpiece worthy of a "wow" reaction from fashionistas.
"BEST DRESSED." Seated beside Anne Curtis, Divine Lee, and Cristalle Henares, Vice was surprised that it was his "ganda" that caught Kylie's attention.
"No'ng tinuro niya pa lang ako, parang mamamatay na 'ko," he told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) right after the concert.
In the middle of Kylie's performance, Vice was singled out. "You are living right there in front," said the "Locomotion" singer.
For the Kylie Monogue fan who almost didn't make it to the show, her remark was a fitting reward.
"I would really die if I wouldn't make it tonight kasi super traffic. Akala ko hindi ako aabot. Ito nga si Anne [Curtis], nag-MRT," he shared.
Before leaving his seat, Vice was approached by one of Kylie's assistants who gave him an autographed souvenir from "Aphrodite" herself.
But what happened at the concert was just icing on the cake. Right after, Kylie mentioned the Showtime host in her tweet: "Vice Ganda was the winner tonight here in Manila...the show tonight was our own mini-thrilla-in-manila!!! Incredible audience!!!!!"
Vice's response via Twitter: "@kylieminogue thank you so much for choosing me as The Best Dressed in your concert! I love you! I'm the happiest person on earth!"
And obviously elated, he added, "I can die anytime now! @kylieminogue just tweeted my name and picture! Oh God!"
