Heart Evangelista is back to work after six months of rest.
The GMA-7 actress will be part of the upcoming primetime series Legacy, which tackles the complicated lives of three half-sisters who are all struggling to be in control of a cosmetics company.
Lovi Poe and Alessandra de Rossi will portray the half-sisters of Heart in this primetime series that will air starting January 16.
"I took my vacation and I used the time...
"I went to Brazil, nakapag-New York pa ako so marami naman akong nagawa," said Heart.
STAR MAGIC BALL. Last September 2011, a lot of people were surprised to see Heart attend the Star Magic Ball, fueling speculations that she would return to Star Magic.
But Heart clarified that she just went to the event simply as a guest.
The still-Kapuso actress said, "During that break, marami akong free time and I got to catch up with Mr. M [Johnny Manahan] and Tita Mariole [Alberto].
"I went through those 'growing pains,' which is how I call it.
"Nagkatampuhan dati and we really got to fix our relationship and they decided to invite me.
"But it wasn't really for anything...they missed me siguro.
"It's just nice to know that they're always there for me.
"It's good that Lovi [Poe] and Sam Pinto were there, so pare-pareho lang kami ng reason: we were just invited."
RIFT WITH MARIAN RIVERA. One of the biggest stories that broke in showbiz in 2011 was the airport incident involving Marian Rivera, Heart, and Heart's mother, Mrs. Cecile Ongpauco.

When asked how she would assess the year 2011, Heart summed it up by saying: "Magulo na maganda.
"These things, wala ka talagang magagawa 'coz it's showbiz.
"It was really, really hard but it's part of life.
"My lesson learned from the whole of last year: Be humble.
"Keep your head down no matter what. Just try your best not to step on anybody.
"But sometimes you're in a situation where you have to survive.
"Just remain humble even though you're trying to fight for what is right. Don't be too aggressive.
"I continue to be that way because I'm really a happy person."
Heart reveals that she personally greeted Marian when they saw each other during an event that Heart refused to identify.
"I won't have a problem approaching people," she said.
"Nagkasalubong kami ng isang beses. I bowed my head and I smiled.
"I respect if she's not ready.
"Hayaan na lang natin...at least nagawa ko ang part ko.
"One day, magkakaroon [ng reconciliation].
"And remember this, if the other doesn't want to fight, there will be no fight."
NO MARRIAGE PROPOSAL YET FROM DANIEL. On the other hand, Heart says that her relationship with her Brazilian-Japanese boyfriend, Daniel Matsunaga, is doing very well.
"I think this is the most mature relationship that I've ever had.
"Pag may mga problema, we don't make it a big deal. We're really good.
"He's my best friend and he's my boyfriend."
Heart also clarified rumors indicating that Daniel supposedly backed out from marrying her.
"We're so focused on working and doing what we want to do.
"We really don't want to get married.
"I want to stop this [talk about] marriage. Walang atras-atras.
"When you say you're getting married, may tendency na ma-hold [ang plans].
"We need to work, we have so much dreams of our own.
"We're both mature people and we enjoy what we're doing so marriage is definitely not part of our plans now," explained Heart.
UPCOMING MOVIE. Heart also mentioned that she was supposed to do a movie with Kapamilya actor Sam Milby, but it was cancelled when Sam decided to go to the United States to pursue his Hollywood dream.
"May movie ako this March. Ang working title niya, Pagpag.
"It's a suspense-horror film.
"Di ba, pag pumunta ka ng patay, kailangan mong mag-pagpag?" she explained.
