Kylie Padilla, who used to be more popularly known as "anak ni Robin Padilla," has started moving beyond the shadow of her famous dad.
After bagging the lead role in GMA-7's remake of Blusang Itim, she is now the female lead in The Good Daughter, which aired its pilot episode last February 13.
STAYING SLIM. Aside from her surname and talent, another requisite in showbiz is the good looks.
The 19-year-old actress practices Muay Thai, which helps maintain her slim figure.
Recently, however, she doesn't get to do any physical activity.
Kylie told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Not so much anymore, kasi nga busy nga dito.
"Every time gusto ko na lang magbasa ng script—sobrang adik."
But she still follows her diet: "I don't eat rice."
She added, "Kasi I tried it once, I ate rice the whole day. Then the next day, agad-agad may taba agad.
"So I said, 'Okay, rice is bad for me.' Gano'n po kabilis sa akin."
STAYING BEAUTIFUL. Her beauty regimen is very simple: "Just soap, hindi ako naglo-lotion."
Kylie laughed, remembering it was an advice she took from her mom Liezl Sicangco.
The young actress continued, "I got it from my mom...Pero yung sabon, it's given to me by my tita."
It's also a must for her to "remove my make-up" and "wash my face."
But the most important thing, according to her, is to be happy.
Kylie elaborated, "Sa tingin ko din kasi, well personally, kung masaya ka, masaya rin yung aura mo, saka masaya din yung balat mo.
"So I think it's more personal than all the cream and all."
