"Pati 'yong mga anak ko [Leila and Sarah], sila 'yong pumipili [ng mga damit], e, siyempre kapatid nila 'yon," says Ogie Alcasid about his daughters who are excited for the arrival of his son with wife Regine Velasquez.

Ogie Alcasid just came back from his regular Australian trip last week of July to visit his two daughters with ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren—Leila and Sarah.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last August 14, during the Protégé auditions in MOA's Music Hall, Ogie revealed that he bought clothes for his unborn baby boy with wife Regine Velasquez.

He also said that even Michelle and their daughters picked out some clothes for their baby brother, Nathaniel James. (CLICK HERE to read related article)

"Pag panlalaki kasi, 'yon at 'yon din, e, do'n mas marami. So, ayun.

Siyempre kapatid nila 'yon."

"Masaya talaga 'yong Australia trip ko kasi I got to spend some quality time with my two daughters.

Being pregnant, Regine wasn't able to join Ogie on his trip to Australia.

Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid is the journey host of the latest superstar search in GMA-7, Protégé: The Battle for the Big Break.

"So, ngayon, 'yong Manila [audition], so ini-introduce ko 'yong city.

This search is said to be the biggest yet as Protégé taps the professional guidance of celebrity mentors such as Janno Gibbs, Jaya, Jay-R, Rachelle Ann Go, Aiza Seguerra, Joey Generoso of Side A, Imelda Papin, Claire dela Fuente, Rey Valera, and Gloc 9.

Ogie said, "Every city, may mentor na naka-assign, then mamimili sila ng tatlong protégés nila. Then 'yon 'yong ime-mentor nila.

Does he give pointers to the contestants?

"Hindi, hindi. Hindi ako mentor, e," said Ogie.

"A, kuya lang ako, e, so journey host ako.

Joining Ogie Alcasid in Protégé are Dingdong Dantes who will be the gala presenter and Jennylyn Mercado who will be the reality host.
