Just like most guys, Alden Richards has a fuss-free fashion style.
Showing his dimples, he told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Actually simple lang naman ako, e. ‘Yong style ko lang, sometimes kung regular days 'pag walang event—jeans, sneakers, shirt, shirt with jacket, and sometimes shorts."
The latter, he said, is a staple in his wardrobe.
“I love shorts, wearing shorts, and rubber shoes. Parang comfy kasi ako sa sa shorts and rubber shoes.”
FASHION DO’S AND DON’TS. Aside from comfort, another thing he considers is color.
In fact, it's part of his few "must-not-do" list.
Alden elaborated, “Siguro ano, ano huwag masyadong makulay. No, no neon colors for me—too bright like, like green, pink, red, yellow.
But if a role would require him to bend his rule, he said, “Siguro sometimes, occasionally puwede rin."
On top of his "must-do" is to look presentable.
He affirmed, “May masasabi at masasabi kapag pangit ‘yong suot mo whenever you go out.
"So just dress appropriately whenever, kung saan ka man pupunta para at least ‘yong feedback ng nakakakita sa ‘yo, hindi negative.”
HIS PEG. Is there anyone he wants to emulate when it comes to dressing up?
He just shook his head.
“Wala kasi akong peg, e,” Alden admitted.
But he has a stylist: "Si M., si M. Barretto."
Alden resumed, “Meron siyang binibigay sa akin na set of clothes na meron siyang peg. Kaya lang ‘yong peg ko, hindi ko alam.
“So siguro more on ano lang, casual, casual, parang city look na more on long sleeves na pull-ups pag may event.
“Beach jeans, beach pants, high-cut shoes ‘tapos 'yon, more on parang gano’n lang.”
