Hollywood actor Zac Efron will be the newest addition to the list of Penshoppe endorsers.
The contract was inked at the London West Hollywood with Golden ABC Chairman Bernie Liu flying to Los Angeles to meet the young star.
“The fact that Zac chose a 100% Filipino brand is something all Filipinos can be proud of as he is very fond of the Philippines and plans to visit as soon as he can," said Mr. Liu in a press statement sent to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
He further stated, “We are a proud Filipino brand that is worn and recognized by global superstars. Just like when Filipino artists or athletes perform in the world arena, winning at home is not enough. Validation from groups outside the Philippines is very important for a brand to be accepted internationally.”
Meanwhile Brand Director Alex Mendoza was happy to have Zac as the newest face of the clothing brand.
In the same press statement, he said, “Zac Efron defines the all-new Penshoppe. From a small brand with very humble beginnings in Mandaue, Cebu, to being the first endorsement choice of a Hollywood A-lister, we have come a long way.
“We started leveling up a few years back by taking pains to improve our products. Recently, we spent considerable resources in improving our stores and shopping experience.
“Now, we proudly announce the evolution of our brand with the biggest endorsement deal of the year.
“We can’t wait for Zac to visit the Philippines and meet his fans—he sends his love to all of you in advance."
