Raymond Gutierrez keeps an open mind about his mom’s rift with Amalia Fuentes and Gloria Diaz

Raymond Gutierrez will soon look like his twin brother Richard—physically that is—after finishing his weight-loss program under the supervision of Sexy Solutions. Raymond on being compared to Richard: “Okey lang. I mean, it’s been a life-long thing na lagi namang may comparison with Richard, sanay naman kami."

“I haven’t counted but when it [first] came out with the Sexy Solutions… 40 lbs.

OWN IDENTITY.

“Siguro ngayon, I want to be more lean.

“So, instead of the weight loss, I just want to be more solid, gain a little bit of muscle, maybe train more on my core para hindi siya talagang flatty,” pahayag niya.

“I mean, it’s been a life-long thing na lagi namang may comparison with Richard, sanay naman kami.

“Even when I was thinner before, I was used to be called 'Richard.'

“You know, I just politely correct them.

“Okey lang naman. Kasi now naman I’m kinda… parang I have my own identity na rin.

"So, you know, people know me na rin now.

“So, I’ll say, ‘I’ll try my best.’

“I really work on it to make sure na yung billboard natin, e, is up to your standards.

“I’m not working for any magazine cover or anything like Cosmo or anything like that.

“But I’m working towards Cristalle’s challenge to me, na yung next campaign, she wanted a little bit more sexy.

“Sabi niya kasi, baka raw end of this year yung campaign…

“So, may panahon pa naman. But it’s not that easy.”

MEDIA AFFILIATIONS.

“A lot lot of media work, a lot of behind the scenes work, and recently I got into creative direction and PR [public relations].

"So, may mga ganung job offers na rin which keep me busy during the week," saad ni Raymond.

“I got invited to the London Fashion week to cover for Esquire. It’s going to be in June.

“So, I’ll be going to London to cover for Esquire.

“So, I was really happy na na-invite ako.

“It’s a blessing and it’s an honor, kasi I think kami lang yata na tiga-Philippines na na-invite.”

“As much as I can, I wanna look my best. Of course, this is in London.

“And I’m representing our country. Everyone there is in shape in the fashion industry.

“Wala halos mataba dun, di ba?

“I’m also kinda pressured to represent the country to London.”

PHILIPPINE FASHION SHOWCASE.

“It’s a one-week event, everyday show yun—may fashion show and a party. So, I’ll be attending all of those.

“Ang saya nga ng feeling because it’s always been a dream of mine to attend Fashion Week.”

Pero ayon kay Raymond, “Mabilis naman naming naagapan yung issue when it blew out of proportion and words were said na hurtful.

“But my Mom naman, at the end of the day, she aired naman her side na she acted on impulse also.

“Ako naman, as much as possible, I tried to understand my mom and I grew up knowing my mom’s personality.

“You know it started with one!” tugon ni Raymond habang natatawa.

“And then, I don’t know what happened.

“The thing with Tita Amalia, it really came out of nowhere.

“Because, like two months ago, she had dinner at our house.

“The last time I saw Tita Amalia was actually in our house in Makati.

“And as much as possible, we want to be at peace because we’re also close to Alyanna Martinez because she styles my sister, and to Ate Liezl and to Kuya Albert [Alyanna's parents].

“So, we’re very close to their family.

“So, nakakagulat at nakaka-sad na may ganitong pangyayari.”

Naapektuhan ba ang closeness niya kay Amalia?

“Uhm… wasn’t close naman talaga to Tita Amalia. I’m more close to Alyanna.

"When I see Alyanna now, ang sabi namin, ‘Huwag na tayong magpa-apekto.’

“As long as we’re mature enough to understand na hindi kami affected…yung generation namin.”

“Well, if somebody wrongs me, di ba?
