Regine Velasquez on motherhood: "It's really wondeful!"

The slumber party hosted by Pampers Comfort for Regine Velasquez and baby Nate last November 22, turned out to be an educational session on motherhood.

Did you know that babies sleep for 16 to 17 hours?

Did you know that moms lose about 400 to 750 hours of sleep a year because of baby pee leaking at night?

Regine Velasquez is no stranger to these facts because, "sa kuwarto namin natutulog si Nate.

"The only time we let him sleep with his yaya is when one of us [she and Ogie] is sick or si Nate is sick."

WHEN THE BABY CRIES... That means he's either hungry or he's feeling uncomfortable.

During nighttime, "wetness" is usually the culprit.

Regine related, "The first thing I do was check if there are leaks outside the diaper so that I know if it needs changing. Yun pala, that isn't enough!"

Thus, it was advised during the intimate event that moms should not forget "what's inside the diaper."

Host Issa Litton added, "It should be dry in the inside" because a wet diaper might cause rashes or infection.

Good thing, the product that the Asia's Songbird is presently endorsing is "pasadong-pasado."

It has "four layers + gel technology" that both absorbs and locks the wetness.

Therefore, when baby sleeps soundly, then mom enjoys uninterrupted sleep as well.

WHAT MOTHERHOOD DOES TO REGINE. But diaper-changing is just one aspect of being a mom.

And despite the sleepless nights she had in the past, Regine has no regrets.

"It’s been great. You know when they say na ‘it would change your life,’ I had no idea…

"But, it’s really wonderful. It’s really wonderful. Had I known, I had gotten pregnant earlier."
