Though Ellen Adarna seems to radiate with confidence in her photos for the photobook A Weekend with Ellen, she says that, “I’m not that confident. There are times that I’m very confident, but there are times that I can say na I’m not hundred percent confident.”

“I think sa book, it’s more personal.

“It’s nothing… hindi siya staged, hindi siya fashion-fashion, may mga flaws, it’s not that perfect. So, yeah, it’s more candid and more personal.”

THE SHOOT.

“He was the one who told me what to do, so I just did the makeup.

“Parang he was… that weekend, he was my boyfriend and he was telling me na, ‘Okay, do this…’ parang gano’n siya.

"Iyong camera iyong boyfriend ko, which was controlled by Jay, so parang gano’n siya.”

LACKS CONFIDENCE.

Natatawang pag-amin pa nga niya, “I only looked at it once!

“Hindi ko siya binabasa paulit-ulit. Tapos parang I only have one copy in my house, so parang hindi ko lang talaga siya naiisip.

"I find it awkward looking at myself.”

Kung sakali man daw na maglalabas siya ulit ng photobook, gusto niya na medyo “older” siya “so it will be something new.”

Pero giit niya, “I’m not that confident.

“There are times that I’m very confident, but there are times that I can say na I’m a hundred percent confident.”

Dagdag pa niya, “kasi [sa photobook] I’m just acting, it’s acting.

“It’s not me in real life.”

Nakangiting sagot ni Ellen, “I’m very chill, I’m very relaxed, I’m fun, I’m crazy, I go with the flow, I’m a free spirit.

“I’m very bubbly and very easy to talk to, and I’m very frank and very straight to the point.”
