Ronnie Liang, who turned 28 last January 31, spent his birthday with the patients of Philippine Children's Medical Center. He said, “My birthday routine: Ngayon, dito sa children’s hospital, and then usually after, dito sa family.”

For four years now, Ronnie Liang has been celebrating his birthday at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City.

With the help of his family, he invited kid-patients last January 31, to a "party" at the hospital’s session hall, where they give away food, prizes, and lootbags.

This 2013, he began the program by singing his version of “Mangarap Ka.”

The birthday boy was "masayang-masaya" when he talked to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

“Very successful kasi, ang mga kids masayang-masaya dito sa mga hinanda namin… ito talaga yung gusto ko.”

How did this become a tradition?

"Unang-una, malapit ako sa mga bata. Pangalawa, nung bata din kasi ako, medyo madalas din ako magkasakit noon...

"Alam ko din ang pakiramdam ng may sakit, so makaka-relate ka, maaalala mo yung kabataan mo, at the same time, mapapasaya mo pa sila.

"Ngayon, I want to grab this opportunity na mag-celebrate ng birthday dito at mapasaya sila.”

And what's his birthday wish?

“Mapasaya yung mga bata, gumaling sila sa mga sakit nila, bigyan sila ni Lord ng mahabang buhay at matupad na nila ang mga pangarap nila.”

Lastly, the VIVA talent thanked his fans for supporting his singing career.

“Maraming-maraming salamat sa lahat ng taong sumusuporta sa akin, sa mga bumili ng album marami pong salamat at huwag po kayong magsawa.

"Help me to provide the needs of my family and friends, and pag-pray po natin ang paggaling ng mga bata. Thank you!”
