On what she fears most about her relationship with Zanjoe Marudo, Bea Alonzo says it's getting cheated on. “Parang it's the kind of betrayal na hindi ko kayang i-tolerate, kasi, di ba, I can do the same thing but I choose not to.”

It’s very easy to say nowadays that Bea Alonzo is a picture of happiness.

With her lovelife going stronger and stronger every day, it seems the actress has nothing more to ask for.

During the taping of her upcoming episode for Olay Conversations, a web talk show for women, Bea opened up to host Boy Abunda about her past, and pretty much explained how and why she finds life more peaceful now.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) talked with Bea right after the shoot, which was held February 9 at Gamma Studios in Makati, and she openly answered several questions about her current relationship with Zanjoe Marudo.

She told Boy Abunda during taping earlier that if there is one thing that could hurt their relationship right now is a rumor that he is cheating on her.

Bea tells Boy, “Parang hindi ko kaya iyon, hindi ko alam kung paano ko iha-handle ang gano’n.”

We asked Bea to explain this further.

She began her statement with a joke: “Actually, sinasabi ko lang iyon para matakot siya. Hahaha! Joke.

“Pero hindi, hindi, hindi... Kung iyon siguro iyong kaso, hindi ko talaga siya kayang patawarin agad-agad or ipagpatuloy iyong [relationship], kasi forever ko na siyang pagdududahan.

“Parang it's the kind of betrayal na hindi ko kayang i-tolerate, kasi, di ba, I can do the same thing but I choose not to.”

While it is always tough to keep a relationship in harmony, Bea finds that being with Zanjoe is quite easy and simple.

“Siguro kasi we just go with the flow.

“We adjust kung ano iyong kailangang i-adjust for the sake of the harmony of the relationship, iyon siguro.”

She adds that a little effort from both parties also keeps the balance.

“Kasi we find time for each other. Alam mo iyon?

“And we don't let any showbiz talks ruin us, ruin our relationship, because it's such a beautiful thing!

“Iyon siguro iyong pinaka-importante doon, we bring out the best in each other.”

Speaking of time for each other, Bea says she and Zanjoe enjoy traveling together.

In fact, if not for their busy work schedule and othe appointments, they could be in Boracay right now, soaking in the romantic charm of the island.

Bea says of her ideal Valentine’s date with Zanjoe: “Right now, I just want to go to the beach.

“Dapat iyon, e. Ni-request ko sa kanya a few months back, bago... kasi ngayon kakalipat ko lang [ng bahay], e, so ang dami-daming dapat asikasuhin.

“Pero a few months back, sabi ko ‘O, Valentine’s gift mo sa ’kin iyan, Bora tayo or something.’

“E, hindi matutuloy kasi ang hassle, kasi ang daming... busy kasi ako doon sa bahay, so iyon.”

Asked if Zanjoe already told her of his actual V-Day plans, Bea says: “Actually, wala pa, e.

“Alam mo, patay siya sa ‘kin talaga kapag wala,” she quips.

“Pero hindi, ayoko rin naman talaga na mismong Valentine’s Day [lumabas], kasi traffic ‘tsaka hassle.

“At least the day before or a day after.”
