FASHION FACE-OFF: Marian Rivera versus Glaiza de Castro

Black versus White. Marian Rivera and Glaiza de Castro successfully portrayed the rivalry of Angeline and Heidi in the defunct GMA-7 teleserye Temptation Of Wife. But in this fashion face-off, who do you think was more tempting: the protagonist in black or the antagonist in white?

Their competition in Temptation Of Wife may be long over, but fashion sense just couldn't ignore the irony of Marian Rivera and Glaiza de Castro's outfits at a recent TV appearance.

The actresses— who portrayed Angeline and Heidi, respectively, in the now defunct GMA-7 primetime series— played up the rivalry angle of their characters by donning outfits in black and white.

Marian, looked effortlessly sexy in a messy updo and a black floor-sweeping gown by designer Francis Libiran.

Although the dress looked quite oversized for the former FHM Sexiest Woman in the World winner, she still managed to look hot by showing her enviably firm obliques through a braided cutout panel around the dress's waist area.

Her smile was enough to charm her audience out of their chairs, that she decided to wear simple silver accessories to match her outfit.

Meanwhile, Glaiza was garbed in a goddess-like combination of white and gold.

Her white strapless dress was adorned with a built-in gold belt, and a statement necklace made up of interconnected squares of clam shell beads.

She completed the look with a number of gold bangles and gold sandals, and styled her modish hair with some end curls.
