Contrary to the notion that she's a “sosy” lady, the French-Filipina model turned celebrity entered showbiz in a most deglamourizing way.

She joined Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Edition, a reality TV show that brought contestants to a remote area—sans the comforts of urban living—and they had to outdo each other in different challenges. Solenn was the only girl who made it to the top three.

Although she didn’t win the competition, she proved that she is more than just a pretty face.

Today, Solenn is an endorser in demand; beauty and cooking show host; singer and TV and movie actress.

While making her mark in local showbiz, Solenn does not limit herself to celebrity life.

She asserts her creative side as a makeup artist, painter, and fashion designer.

“I’m artsy and I love creating things,” Solenn reveals. “I don’t let my busy showbiz schedule get in the way of my passions, such as painting and fashion design.”

Solenn’s attitude toward her passions and the things that she loves doing, also applies to her personal style.

While people primarily notice her good fashion sense, Solenn explains that her primary consideration when it comes to her style is comfort and simplicity.

“Comfort is the key to confidence—that’s my style philosophy,” she stresses.

“I find that when you have too much going on, it takes away from who you are, and your personality tends to get buried beneath the trappings,” she points out.

That's why Solenn is the perfect endorser for Avon’s Jewelry and Watches product line.

Asked how her latest endorsement perfectly fits her personal style, Solenn responds, “I love the latest collections because not only do they match my love for accessorizing, the pieces reflect my personal style as well—simple and comfortable, yet elegant.”

She was officially launched as the ambassador of Avon’s jewelry line last June 28, Friday, at the SM Aura Convention Center in Taguig.

People may associate Solenn’s name with fashionista, sosyal, celebrity and “It” girl, but behind all these tags, she is just a simple, artistic and passionate lady.

Despite her success, Solenn makes sure that she does not lose who she really is.

“I don’t want to be someone I’m not and I’m definitely not one to show off,” she says.
