Day 96: So, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla has found a new hobby.

Just recently, the Wowowillie co-host created a second Instagram account, @organicaholic_mariel, solely to share with her followers her penchant for organic food, and making healthy mixed juices and smoothies.

The homemaker of action star Robin Padilla believes that staying in shape requires having a good diet: one that is filled with nutritious ingredients, such as organically grown vegetables and fruits.

In one of her recent posts, Mariel explained in asterisk-points why eating organic is good for you.

One reason is that organic food "keeps chemicals off your plate."

With this, you "avoid eating genetically modified produce," which usually contain pesticides that are harmful to humans.

Organic food also "boosts immunity" and is even better-tasting.

As more and more people are trying to adapt a healthier lifestyle, a perfect Christmas gift to give your health-conscious pal is a gadget that allows her to keep up with her diet even when she’s on the go.

A practical tool for Mariel is the Oster MyBlend (Php 1,750), which is basically a smaller version of the regular kitchen blender.

Instead of a large pitcher, it uses a 20-ounce BPA-Free plastic sports bottle that you can take away right after mixing your own fruity concoction.

With this, you don’t need to spend extra time transferring the contents into another container and waste another spoonful of residue.

The compact 250-watt blender base is powerful enough to crush ice, so you don’t have to worry about keeping your drink cold and fresh.

Oster MyBlend, and other products from the brand, is available in all major retail outlets and appliance stores nationwide.

Visit the Coleman stores and service centers, too, at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas, Glorietta 2 in Makati, and Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa.
