Jake Cuenca had no qualms about admitting that he likes to drink—but only for the purpose of socializing with friends. For party-lovers and social drinkers like Jake, the best gift to give this Christmas is a bottle of locally made rum.

In a recent episode of PEPtalk, Jake Cuenca said that social drinking has become a way of bonding for him and his pals Joem Bascon and Paulo Avelino.

And not that it’s a bad thing!

In fact, Jake and his friends are just like any other young person, these days, who really enjoy chatting over a bottle of hard liquor or beers.

A nice gift you can bring your pals this holiday party season is a bottle of Don Papa Rum.

Don Papa is a premium aged small batch rum from Negros Occidental—the sugar bowl of the Philippines.

It is “distilled from some of the finest sugar cane in the world,” according to the brand’s website, and it is “first aged 7 years in oak barrels in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon before being blended to perfection.”

This locally produced liquor will easily suit the Filipino drinker’s palate, as it has light and fruity smells with a smooth mix of vanilla, honey and candied fruit flavors.

Don Papa is currently available at a number of local bars and pubs, but you may also purchase a bottle at leading supermarkets and liquor stores nationwide.
