An afternoon with Daniel Padilla, Elmo Magalona, Slater Young, and Ramon Bautista

Celebrating its 40th year this 2014 is popular snack brand Oishi Prawn Crackers and its sister product Kirei.

Last February 8, at the Skye Lounge located at the rooftop of the W Building in Bonifacio Global City, the brand’s pool of celebrity endorsers, collectively known as Team O, led a fun-filled afternoon with members of the media to get a glimpse of what they have been doing for the past year and what they plan to come up with in the future.

Daniel Padilla—the endorser of another sister brand, Marty’s—and Team O regulars Elmo Magalona, Slater Young, and Ramon Bautista hosted the afternoon’s program and even joined the quirky parlor games that mirrored some of their recent efforts to spread the joy of eating Oishi.

Sporty Daniel manned his own game booth, which is a basketball shootout that made use of acutal arcade basketball consoles brought into the venue for the event.

TEAM O CAMPAIGN. Since its launch in 2012, Team O has brought smiles and cheers to hundreds of Pinoy students with some one-of-a-kind gimmicks that brought them closer to their celebrity idols.

Among their recent efforts was the "Team O: Jeep O" adventure, which had Ramon, Slater, and Elmo disguised as regular jeepney passengers with a mission to surprise student passengers from the university belt in Manila.

There was also the “Tag Your Daniel Padilla party,” where students of Culiat High School in Tandang Sora, Quezon City had a thrilling time identifying the real Daniel Padilla amidst his 50 clones.


For their next grand adventure, Oishi is inviting everyone to come up with their own unique scheme of how they think Team O can make more people happy.
