New kiddie models headline runway show for local fashion brand Gingersnaps

What began as a modest corner in a department store, kids' fashion brand Gingersnaps now celebrates 20 years of international style with unbound elegance and classical modernity.

Loved by moms, dads, and kids alike, the brand continues to create positive images of family, ethnic diversity, and creative style.

On February 1, the brand held a fashion show at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier to showcase its new collection of children's wear.

Every aspect of the production—from the casting, set-design, and the runway collection—have been created with the overall theme of grace, quirkiness, and global freshness.

The program was hosted by Daphne Oseña-Paez, a self-confessed fan of the brand along with her three daughters Sophia, Lily, and Stella.

The stylish clothes, which all exude the fun and carefree vibe of summer, were modeled by the 10 winners and 45 other candidates of the Gingersnaps Kids Model Search—an online photo competition for kids to be the faces of Gingersnaps that started in 2013, and now culminates at the Gingersnaps 20th Anniversary Fashion Show.

The new faces of Gingersnaps are:

Ananda Sadhwani

David Young

Emilia Ramirez

Jacob Hyatt

Jean Santos

Jolijn Etten

Llewellyn Casiño

Maiko Bo

Nicholas Almendral

and Ystelle Gaboriault.

Guided by top fashion director Robbie Carmona, and styled by celebrity stylist Pam Quiñones, these little fashionistas gave their fiercest Gingersnaps pose for the camera and the stage.
