Bianca Gonzalez on saying "yes" to a marriage proposal from boyfriend JC Intal: "Some days, feeling ko ready ako. Some days, feeling ko parang I am old enough, kaya ko na to have a family. Some days naman, kapag enjoy na enjoy ako sa being young and free, parang di pa ako prepared. So, it's different every day."

After surprising her friends and fans last year with a bold new haircut, one couldn't help but wonder what else could be under Bianca Gonzalez's sleeve.

Seeing as she has turned 31 last March 11, it wouldn't sound completely strange to hear her announce her wedding to boyfriend JC Intal soon.

Bianca entertains the thought in a recent interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

"When I was a teenager, sabi ko 25, 27," she answered when asked what her ideal marrying age is.

"Noong medyo 25 na ako, sabi ko, 29. E, 31 na ako, so pausog nang pausog.

"Iyon din talaga. I guess, iyon na din iyong norm ngayon, di na nagpapakasal before 30, so we'll see.

"Makikita niyo naman ako kung may singsing na ako," she smiles.

Bianca and JC, a player for the Barako Bull Energy team of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), have been together for almost three years.

The TV host and magazine editor describes their relationship as on solid ground, in a way.

"Stable. Okay naman. Siguro, like other couples, may good day, may bad day.

"May day na talagang siya ang pinaka-hate mo sa buong mundo, may day na parang sobra niyang... siya iyong pinaka-pogi sa buong
mundo para sa iyo, parang ganoon.

"So, stable, yes. And that... wala, e, both of us ang dami-daming pinanggalingang relationships, and so, at this age, when we got together, parang medyo mas alam mo na iyong gusto mo in a person.

"So, siguro, doon lang nag-swak. 'Tsaka everyone I know who's married said, 'You'll know,' na parang, 'Malalaman mo na lang [of he's the one].' So, we'll see."

But is she ready to yes if ever JC proposes?

"Some days, feeling ko ready ako. Some days, feeling ko parang
I am old enough, kaya ko na to have a family.

"Some days naman, kapag enjoy na enjoy ako sa being young and free, parang di pa ako prepared. So, it's different every day."

Bianca remembers an advice given to by her friends, who are now mostly married.

"All of them said, 'You know, you'll never really know naman if you're ready. Pag nandiyan na, ju-jump ka na,' parang gano'n.

"So, I guess iyon din ang mangayayari sa akin.

"I believe naman na parang whatever God has planned for me, I mean, as fatalistic, cheesy or masyadong religious as it sounds, parang siya naman talaga iyong may plan, so we'll see."

"We'll see" seems to be the common comment she makes about the idea of settling down.

Still, she expects the unexpected.

"Iyon siguro iyong isang bagay na natutuhan ko rin, for 31 years of life, iyong you can't plan your year talaga.

"Gugulatin ka na lang na biglang may iba palang plan para sa iyo," Bianca asserts.

Perhaps the surprise has to come from JC Intal?

We'll see...
