Ang bungad niya tungkol sa papalapit na event, “A bit nervous and sad, at the same time, kasi matatapos na. I’m also excited.”

"That was the time when Eric Quizon was discovered by his dad Dolphy.“

Being chosen as one of the finalists puts you in the mainstream of fashion already. It legitimizes your status as a professional model.

Siyempre, bukod pa rito yung cash at iba pang prizes.

Sabi ni Johnny, “Actually, it’s not the prize that counts, e. They are not after the prize, it’s the break that counts.

"Kasi pag nakapasok sila dito, sigurado dadami ang rakets nila dahil we are group of designers that need models for the clothes we are doing, 'di ba?”

NO DISCRIMINATION.

“...anyone can join. Bakit kailangan mo i-discriminate yung mga gay or lesbian e kami mismo belongs to a gay community?

"As a matter of fact, next year, we might just open body shots for transgender, yung mga operada na.

"Malay mo this is the start of something.

CHAT WITH SOME CANDIDATES.

Candidate #40 Karan Singholote: “The competition is very strict, everyone is preparing themselves to win. I myself, I need to strive to win the competition.”

Candidate #39 Christian Anthony Arbastro: "Habang tumatagal yung pagsasama naming mga candidates, mas nagiging kilala mo lalo yung mga kasama mo at mas marami kang natutunan, especially, the development mo sa sarili mo."

Candidate #20 Racquel Kabigting: “This is the second prestigious competition na nasalihan ko.

"As compared [with] the pageant, mas maituturing kong less stressful ang Body Shots. Sa Binibining Pilipinas kasi, konting maling kilos namin, pag-uusapan kami, isang maling make-up, maling pag-style ng pagsusuot ng damit, pinag-uusapan na kami or bina-bash kami.

"Dito kasi, kahit lumabas kami nang walang make-up or we become
playful or hindi masyadong maayos pananamit namin, dahil iniisip siguro nila na style ng designer yun, so hindi kami bina-bash.

"Sa Binibini, we need to smile for an hour para sa lahat ng tao. Pero dito, hindi kami mag-smile kasi this is a modeling competition naman, e. You don’t have to showcase your face but you showcase your body.”

"I have my strict diet, I do exercises. Baguhan po ako in these kind of competition, kasi first time ko pong sumali sa national competition like this.
