Jericho Rosales's cover shoot for Garage magazine is one of his most memorable experiences. “Kasi brown out, walang kuryente nung nag-shoot kami. Siyempre cowboy 'di ba? Wild, wild West so alam mo yun, talagang sweat namin. Natural light kami sa studio, it was so much fun!"

In celebration of its sixth year, Garage magazine held its annual fashion ball—Street Dapper Kings—on September 9 at Hyve Bar in Bonifacio Global City. The event was attended by fashion-savvy individuals wearing rodeo-inspired outfits.

This year, Kapamilya star Jericho Rosales led the list of the most dapper guys in the country. Other stylish men on the list are Michael Seifert, Cholo dela Vega, Jeff Ortega, Fold Canela, and Euric Lumanog.

In an interview with (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Jericho Rosales admitted he had long wanted to grace the cover of Garage magazine.

The Kapamilya actor told PEP that he immediately blocked off dates for the photo shoot.

“I blocked off the schedule na and then [I said], ‘I wanna be there when you guys launch the issue,’ kasi sixth anniversary nila.

“It’s really cool, I worked with a great team—yung stylist nila, the photographer, everyone I worked with for the cover. They’re all nice.”

Jericho also noted that his wild-wild-West-inspired photo shoot was one of his most memorable, so far.

He explained, “Memorable yun kasi brown out, walang kuryente nung nag-shoot kami.

“Siyempre cowboy 'di ba? Wild, wild West so alam mo yun, talagang sweat namin.

“Natural light kami sa studio, it was so much fun!

“So it’s one of my most memorable shoots!”

But if he could plan his own photo shoot, what would be the theme?

Jericho answered, “Fan ako ng black and white, alam mo yun?

“[I would wear] black and white, gentlemen shoes, tie or bow tie, clean hair.

“I wanna be photographed parang GQ magazine, parang ganun...

“Classic Hollywood, or classic na Filipino, alam mo yung mga pictures noon nina Eddie Garcia, yung mga luma, yung mga Sampaguita Pictures, parang ganun.”

Meanwhile, Filipino-German model Michael Seifert also thanked the magazine’s editorial team for including him on the list.

Michael said, “I’m very honored because Garage is one of the magazines that I actually follow and recommend to everyone out there who wants to know the latest trends.”

Photographer Cholo dela Vega, on the other hand, was surprised he was included on the list since his closet staples are basic items.

Cholo told PEP, “Actually, honored and surprised ako because I don’t really consider myself… I don’t really dress up that much.

“For me clothes are just utility.”
