One of the wonderful discoveries of Jolina Magdangal as mother to 10-month-old Pele Iñigo, "Yung kahit puyat ka, pagod ka, masaya ka. Puwede pala yun!"

“Wala siyang katulad…”

This was how Jolina Magdangal described motherhood in an interview before the Christmas break.

Motherhood has brought so many changes to Jolina’s life.

First, there's the extra weight.

The lady who’s been petite all her life, had to go to Zumba, play badminton, and run on the treadmill at night, for more than two months.

As for her diet, Jolina said, “Wala akong rice ‘tapos minsan nagwa-one meal a day ako, ‘tapos yung iba, shake, banana shake.”

Second, learning how to decode baby cues.

“Kakagaling lang niya sa lagnat. Ganun pala yun.

Third, making a big deal out of the littlest things.

In between giggles, the Kapamilya star said, “At nine-and-a-half months, nagngipin siya, dalawa.

Fourth, putting in more time for anything related to the baby.

While breastfeeding eats up a chunk of her usually busy schedule, she plans to breastfeed for “two years and beyond.”

She added that fellow-PPL talent LJ Reyes breastfed her son, Aki, for “two years and nine months.”

Then, with her eyes sparkling, Jolens (her nickname) said, “Pag nakita mo lang na pinagbigyan mo siya, masaya na siya, sarap! Kaya hanggang ngayon, nagpapadede pa ‘ko.”

Lastly, her day is not complete without a PELEserye, which she coined from her son’s name, Pele Iñigo.

“As in talagang minsan, parang ‘di ako kumpleto pag ‘di ako nakalabas ng PELEserye sa isang araw, e.

What if brands would be interested in sponsoring her PELEseryes?

She replied with enthusiasm, “Oo naman. Puwede naman.”
