Kapamilya princess Kim Chiu continues to make her dreams come true.
In 2011, at the young age of 21, Kim moved into a three-story, four-bedroom house in an exclusive village in Quezon City.
In 2009, Kim bought the 600-square-meter property in an exclusive village in Quezon City.
After spending their childhood years living with relatives, Kim and her siblings finally moved into their own place.
PINK PALACE. Kim's luxurious home was originally meant to be an all-pink house, fit for the doll-like Kapamilya princess.
She told YES! in a previous issue, "Talagang pink and violet dapat itong bahay na 'to. Pati kitchen. Lahat!
"Pero sabi ng ate ko, 'Uy tatanda ka rin. Pagsasawaan mo rin 'yang pink.'"
Kim gave in, but went all-out in decorating her own room in her favorite hue.
"As she put it, "Sa lungkot ko, ginawa kong mini-condo 'yong kwarto ko.
"May sarili siyang buhay. Meron siyang sala, meron siyang stairs paakyat sa room, meron siyang C.R. ganyan."
It’s a condo-loft unto itself that is integrated into the second floor of her home.
When it came to the other parts of the house, Kim was specific about what she wanted: "Parang gusto ko kasi, parang Polly Pocket.
"'Yong pagbukas mo, maraming laman. Parang pagpasok mo, marami siyang dimensions."
HANDS-ON. Kim was very hands-on in designing her house. She joined interior designer Janet Torio in picking swatches, lamps, and other items whenever she could find time.
Janet told YES!: "The kind of design that I used in the house is eclectic. It's a combination of classic and modern design."
Kim considers her house her most prized possession. It is, also, she admitted, the only house she and her siblings have ever owned.
She said, "Sa lahat ng commercials ko, sobra akong thankful na hanggang ngayon kinukuha pa rin nila akong endorser.”
Kim also admitted that she is planning to build a new house and has already bought the lot.
"Meron na pong lote, konting pundar-pundar ng mga hirap-hirap natin."
The chinita princess explained why she wants to build a bigger house. "Masikip na. Dumami na po kami. Kasama na yung mga pamangkin ko sa bahay."
