Dressing up is much easier for men than women.
No need for thick make-up, just a whiff of perfume, and a bit of hair wax, they're pretty much good to go.
Gabby Eigenmann however considers one item a staple in his wardrobe.
The award-winning actor tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I think a watch.
"And, of course, our gadget kasi sometimes it adds status symbol.”
His gadget of choice? An iPhone 6!
He says he finds fashion as one of his frustrations, but he has learned to keep things simple.
At the awards of The PEP List last June 18, at the grand ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino, Gabby dressed up in an H&M ensemble.
Vin Abrenica, who was dapper in black, also collects watches, and agrees with Gabby that it is a man’s must-have accessory.
He also thinks the hairstyle gives a man some extra suave.
“The watch and my hairstyle,” he says about his red-carpet staples.
PERSONAL STYLE. Mark Neumann, dressed in a Myrrh Lao dark blue suit, suggests something different: a rosary!
“Either rosary na wrist band or kuwintas na may sign ng cross.”
For Ruru Madrid, who wore a Toni Lao gray suit, he checks out Instagram for pegs.
“Lagi akong tumitingin sa mga Instagram kung pa’no ba ‘yong dapat na porma, and then babagay sa personality ko.”
THE RIGHT FASHION. Christian Bautista, who wore a metallic black suit made by Rainer de Gala, shares his thought about fashion in the industry.
“I believe na fashion has to evolve, adjust, and sometimes to lead the way. Sometimes, to conform, I feel it has to be organic personally.
“Halimbawa, you’re in a different group of people, minsan masyado kang sobra, minsan masyado ka namang kulang.
“Kailangan malalaman mo yung taste ng certain crowd or room or what’s the flavor of it, and then go with it.”
Again, men have it easier than women when it comes to fashion.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t make the effort to look good...even if it it usually takes them 10 minutes to make it happen.
