Sa pagbubukas ng Serendra, The Fort branch ng Wangfu restaurant kamakailan, masayang pahayag ni Richard, “We have four restaurants already—tatlong Wang Fu (Tomas Morato, UP Town Center, at Serrendra) and one Luna J."

Bukod pa rito, “I have a flooring business which we just started. It’s a wooden flooring naman here in Manila also.”

Paano ang share of investment nila?

WHAT'S NEW WITH WANGFU.

“...meron kaming slated egg chicken which is one of our bestsellers, parang duck-egg na ilog na maalat na, so yun."

1) Be fair to your employees.

Aniya, “I think it’s by treating people right, giving them what’s fair, what they deserve. Lahat naman tayo I think we want to feel a sense of self-worth.

“So if you are working with someone and you want to feel that, uh, ganoon din ako sa mga taong nagtatrabaho sa akin.

"We want to give them, gusto namin na umangat sila kasama namin.

“So that is something I want to impart to all the people. Gusto kong umasenso rin sila sa buhay.”

2. Start young.

Kaya raw maraming Chinese na magaling sa pag-handle ng negosyo dahil, “I think it’s the culture, e. Kasi yung ah, Chinese were brought to go into business.

“Ah, siguro kasi let’s say Filipinos, let’s say when we were colonized by Spain ano kasi, meron kasi tendency na i-spoil yung mga bata, yung mga ganoon.

"So siguro doon yung difference.

“But a lot of Filipinos I see now are very business-minded. So nandoon na rin sila. Natututo na rin.

"A lot of Filipinos are very good in business na rin ngayon so hindi na siya dominated ng mga Chinese.”

3. Be a sigurista.

“Ah, it’s something that you should really study.

"So we really have to be very careful.”

4. Business is a hit or miss.

"But that was only one of how many. So it’s just that hindi puwedeng mag-jump into something that you haven’t really studied.

5. His most important advice to those who want to go into business: "kailangan talaga bantayan mo."

Dugtong niya, "Hindi puwedeng you ask somebody else to take care of it. Kasi you have to remember walang tao ang gagawa ng pera para sa ‘yo. Kailangan ikaw talaga yun.”

6. Choose your partners well.

“Yun ang sikreto namin kasi yung mga partners ko, sila talaga yung...we all have our own parang mga responsibilities.

"Basta gawin niya yung sa kanya, gagawin ko sa akin, it will help the company run better.”
