"I have a free Jaguar, that's pretty cool. I like that!" says Georgina Wilson when asked about the perks of her job.
That, of course, does not include the talent fees, which are much, much higher than what regular employees get.
Now PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) lists down more stuff that make being artista more fun and rewarding...and make more people want to live the life of an artista.
1. Freebies! Lots and lots of free goodies!
Georgina gets free items from her numerous endorsements.
"Well, for example, I don't think I have ever had to buy shampoo and conditioner.
“Unilever sends me every single year, a year's supply for me and everyone that I know," she smiles.
It's a gorgeous Avon day for me today💙 THANK YOU for the continued support of SSS and making us the number one selling product in Avon and number one lotion in the country! Our newest variant with SPF 15 surpassed all sales estimates 💙 yey to all of us avon ladies!

"I create very special relationships with the brands that I endorse, and I think that they feel my super wholehearted dedication and sincerity when I endorse something.
“So likewise, they like really to support me with anything and everything.”
But she stresses that these perks aren’t handed out so freely, "I really do fully involve myself.
“...I wanna know exactly what the benefits are, what are we standing for.”
2. Daily makeovers
Being a celebrity, you are scrutinized from head-to-toe.
Good thing, dressing up is less of a hassle with make-up artists and stylists doing it for you.
Georgina says she loves “getting made up everyday.”
“Like that's super my favorite, like sometimes make-up artists will go, 'Sorry I'm taking so long,' but I just wanna stay in this make-up chair forever.
“I'm so into the process, like I just love it!'

3. Meeting new people
Being a model and the host of Asia’s Next Top Model Season 3, Georgina gets the opportunity to work with other people around Asia.
"I have all the beauty products that I'll ever need and I love going to shoots, I love shooting commercials,” she says, but admits that she was anxious about these shoots at the beginning.
“I loved working with the people on set. I guess that's a different type of perk, working with really cool people in the Philippines and within Asia."
Meanwhile, Iya Villania-Arellano observes that people are kinder when they know you are a celebrity.
The "Chika Minute" host muses, “People just happen to be nicer to you... when you go on the street and someone will notice you and say hi.”
Her fellow Taste Buddy and segment host of the show, Saab Magalona-Bacarro adds that she enjoys being able to meet some of her fans.
She reveals, “It's such a nice feeling when we went to Japan, ito lang no’ng honeymoon namin.
“Some girl just came up to me at Nishiki Market [in Kyoto] and she's like, ‘Saab, hi,’ and took a photo with me.
Despite not having blogged for a long time, she appreciates the loyalty of her fan base and admires how “very educated and very respectful” her fans are.
4. Around the world, all-expense paid
Christian Bautista enjoys this perk the most.
“Is traveling a perk?” asks the singer-actor. “I get to travel for free because I’m paid to sing and it’s something that I love.
“What a wonderful, wonderful job.”

5. Financial fulfillment
This is probably an obvious answer, but it is a perk that is often overlooked.
Many celebrities enter the business with hopes that they will earn enough to lift their families economically.
Actor Martin del Rosario admits he isn’t exactly the family breadwinner, but his increased capacity to help with family expenses surely makes the job fulfilling.
“Ay hindi, hindi ako breadwinner, kumbaga parang to save up for my future din.
“E since sila rin naman ‘yong future ko… [at saka] ‘yong mga plans ko for myself.”
As it goes, privileges are twinned with responsibilities, and celebrities put in a lot of work and even give up their privacy to acquire the perks of their success.
Hence, Georgina points out, "Just to give the story context...being a celebrity, there are lots of perks but there are lots of responsibilities and difficulties, too."
