Bianca Manalo on having a relatioship: "I'm not here to play games anymore. I'm not getting any younger."

Bianca Manalo struck a commanding presence at the recent Berocca launch for its three new flavors at the Palace Pool Club, Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig.

At 5’ 10”, she towered over the crowd and stood out in her skin-tight neon green dress.

The Binibibing Pilipinas-Miss Universe 2009 gladly obliged us with a chat in one of the poolside cabanas.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked the dusky stunner about the rumors linking her to Fabio Ide.

She smiled and just shook her head.

We teased her, "So, kayo na nga?"

Bianca almost said something but, still smiling, quickly changed her mind, "Ayoko. Huwag na."

We asked a different question: what’s keeping her from getting hitched?

She answered this time, "Argh, oh my God, ayoko magbigay ng details..."

And yet she did, "I'm only 28 but siyempre, if magkakaroon ako ng special someone, gusto ko siya na.

"I'm not here to play games anymore. I'm not getting any younger.

“Why would I waste my time with someone kung hindi naman yun ang hinahanap ko?

"Basta sabi ko, pag magkaroon ako ng someone, gusto ko siya na, hanggang doon lang ako."

What kind of man is she looking or waiting for?

"Family-oriented, responsible, may takot sa Diyos, rerespetuhin ako hindi lang bilang babae pero bilang tao," Bianca replied.

INTIMIDATING? Bianca admitted to getting a comment that she’s intimidating a lot of times.

What she doesn't understand is when people say she's “mataray.”

"Kailan ako naging mataray, napakaloka-loka ko!"

She added that if guys find it hard to approach her, that's actually not her issue.

"Ako kasi ang paniniwala ko diyan if you find me an intimidating woman, then, you don't have the guts to talk to me, then huwag na.

"Don't say I am intimidating, why don't you try?"

She continued, "Kung hindi mo i-try, then walk away, child. Walk away.

CAREER CHOICES. Since she is already perceived as mataray and intimidating, why not try exploring that as part of her acting path?

Bianca remarked, "Gusto ko maging kontrabida. O, intimidating ako, 'di ba? Ma-try nga."

She recalled how many of her past roles are of the mababait kind: bida, kaibigan, best friend, maingay na best friend or nakakatawang best friend.

Bianca added, "Yun naman talaga ako. E, kung sinasabi nila ang taray, e, 'di sana nagkaroon na ako ng malditang role."

We encouraged her to put herself out there in video, showing off her perceived mataray nature.

Bianca, looking ever so pretty even as she wrinkled up her nose and face, said, "Ayoko nga. Ayoko."

She resumed, "Paano, hindi naman kasi ako ganoong tao; 'di naman talaga ako mataray."

But really, she was serious, "Gusto ko ng mataray na role."
