Aniya, “Kasi our climate is very different from Korea, and our skin is also different, so, in the Philippines, we usually have oily skin, in the Korea, they have dry.”
So if she has pieces of advice regarding pimples, hindi kasama ang pagsunod sa mabusising ten-step beauty regimen ng mga South Koreans.
“Sometimes, the ears kasi when you wash, the soap was there, and when you rinse, nakakalimutan, so this is very irritating to the pores.”
And when your pores are clogged, the oil gets trapped inside resulting in a pimple.
Vicki ang, “hands off your face,” because, “you transfer oil and dirt and bacteria.”
“Clearing acne out is very important. What people have a problem with is they keep putting things on their face [na] anti-acne pero hindi nila tinatanggal yung mga may pus na, so nagkaka-brown dark spots.”
Because moisturizers are really bad in the sense that they make your bad skin stick to your face. Dapat nahulog na iyang dead skin na iyan, but when you have moisturizer, naging basa na naman siya, so it just stays there.
“But it makes patong-patong, and it covers your pores, [so] you get a pimple there.
According to Dra. Vicki, supposedly, 50 percent of people outgrow their pimples at age 21.
Sa pagpapatuloy niya, “From what I have seen, skin-care products and make-up, 30 years old is an age where you’re earning well, you buy the expensive brands that you have been aiming to buy. But you have to think about it, this make-up is very well-made, but it’s made for Caucasians. people who live in cold climate, mga French, Americans.”
The right product is “hiyangan,” so it is important to do a very good job when choosing stuff for your face.
Ang paliwanag ng doktora, “hair is very shiny,” kaya bantayan ang “skin around the hairline.”
This probably explains why marami ang may pimples sa forehead.
For emergency acne or yung dapat mawala agad kasi you need to be flawless for an event, her clinic has this technology targeting the “venom sa pimple.”
She elaborates, “Pinapatay niya yung pimple, it dries out, and it’s all natural.”
She also has a monthly treatment for those who need to regulate the ”oil glands around the chin,” na parating tinutubuan ng pimple o pimples tuwing merong period ang babae.
Kelangan daw minimum of four sessions.
Aniya, “Burn the zap so no oil can accumulate anymore.”
Consult a dermatologist, and find out which treatment is best for you.
Dagdag ng celebrity doctor, “You cleanse your body all the time [when you drink] two liters a day, eight to ten glasses. You have to really flush your dirt out.”
