Letisha Velasco, more popular as Leti Sha, is a beauty vlogger whose amazing make-up transformation is followed by 2.09 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Her followers on Instagram currently run to 249,000.

Letisha has come this far owing to her determination to overcome her inferiority complex caused by her acne-ridden face

The content provider from Pangasinan who does product reviews online told her story to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in this exclusive interview via Zoom on Thursday night, October 8, 2020.

She began, "Yung pagkakaroon ako ng acne, 18 years old ako [nag-start].

"Ngayon, 21 years old na ako.

First, she took the bold step to come out bare faced rather than be ashamed of her facial flaw.

Letisha revealed she did try several treatments in order to minimize the breakouts, but she stopped because of their side effects.

And then, last September, Letisha was approached by a Pasig City-based derma clinic called Pretty & Calm Beauty and Wellness Center with an offer to help her address her skin problems.

Some of the facial treatments she received from the clinic were the Carbon Laser Doll facial and the blue LED face mask.

Letisha volunteered she's also been maintaining a simple skincare routine using products that are for sensitive and acne-prone skin types.

She said, "Ang skincare ko ngayon yung mga mild lang and walang amoy, yung mga Celeteque, Dove Beauty Bar...

For her moisturizer, Letisha said she has been using a hydrating lotion from the Japanese brand Hada Labor.

To treat her acne, she applies Luxe Organix Miracle Spot Corrector at night.

She also uses the Luxe Organix AHA BHA Miracle Solutions skin care set, but Letisha cautioned, "Tuwing Sabado or weekends kasi matapang po yun."

REMINDERS

Letisha has been telling her fans who are conscious of their acne breakouts not to feel let down.

Huwag nilang isipin kasi talagang hangga't nandiyan yung taghiyawat, feeling mo forever an nandiyan e. Pero mawawala din yan."

Letisha also reminded her subscribers to use products that work on their skin type and not just because they are trending.

She said, "Huwag lang tayo maglagay-lagay ng kug anu-ano at dapat alamin din natin yung ano dapat sa skin natin.
