Iya Villania has just had a major hair transformation: the GMA-7 host nows sports a pixie cut, her shortest cut ever.
Iya said goodbye to her long locks this week, courtesy of her go-to hairstylist Alex Carbonell.
Alex related in one of Iya's Instagram Stories that he cut off "18 inches" of hair.
After her salon visit, Iya showed her new look to her two boys.
The Kapuso talent showed their reactions on Instagram Stories.
Iya first went to her eldest son Primo. She asked: "Do you like Mama's hair?"
Primo was straightforward and said he didn't like it.
Iya then went to her second son Leon. She asked: "Do you like Mama's hair?"
Leon didn't react at first.
Then his dad Drew Arellano walked in the video. Drew played with various grimaces to tease his wife.
Iya then said: "Papa likes it." After which Leon let out a laugh.
In case Iya did not get that he was actually wowed by her new look, Drew posted a photo of Iya's new haircut and wrote this caption:
"Well I guess she wants another baby! [three wacky face emoji] #rawr"
His post drew laughs from celebrity friends.
Iya and Drew were married in 2014.
They have three kids: Primo, 4, Leon, 2, and Alana, four months.
