GINO TALKS ABOUT THE PROCEDURES

Sagot ni Gino, “Actually, that’s the thing. I don’t have enough chin before.

Aniya, “Because bago ako magpagawa, I searched first, and then I consulted to my doktor, kung tama yung mga decision ko.

“I’m a makeup artist. So, I need to look good. I need to be credible with what I’m doing.

“Kasi parang, it’s like paano sila maniniwalang mapapaganda ka o mapapaganda mo sila kung ikaw sa sarili mo you cannot be presentable.”

“I can see myself na getting satisfied and happy. Kasi when you’re happy sa sarili mo, mas nagiging maganda yung resulta ng lahat ng bagay na ginagawa mo.

“So, I’m becoming more happy in my work and what I’m doing every day in my life.

“Nabu-boost yung confidence and everything.”

“Like what I’ve said, hindi siya isang bagsakan. So, maintenance siya.

IS AESTHETIC SURGERY ADDICTIVE ?

Tugon niya, “I can say meron, but kailangan mong i-control sa sarili mo… that you need to have satisfaction.

"Na kailangan pag na-achieve ko ito, I will stop from here.

Ang sabi ng makeup artist, “I sometimes don’t understand people telling me to enjoy natural, when we all eat food with preservatives.

“I don’t believe in ‘embracing natural’ statement to attack those who maintain themselves through surgeries.

"I believe in loving yourself by enhancing it.”

Depensa pa niya, “Disregarding surgeries is same way of invalidating the surgeons.

"Imagine these doctors who studied for more than 10 years, and we can’t understand the purpose of what they are doing?”

Pero paglilinaw niya, “I understand the fear of other people because of botched surgeries they might have seen in the TV or in social media.

“But that is the same reason I am very vocal about the procedures I did because I want to let them know there are right people to approach.”

“We don’t force people if they don’t like [aesthetic surgery], but we encourage them to understand that nothing is wrong in doing it.”

Bilang panghuli, sabi niya, “Stop judging people who went under the knife to make themselves better.

“We all have a background story to tell. Some people have been bullied due to physical aspects, and we don't remind people their dark past.

“Let's normalize having aesthetic surgeries whether invasive or non-invasive. It's valid.”
