Loisa Andalio admits she also got into the 10-step K-Beauty skin-care trend.

Although she has always believed that "less is more" when it comes to makeup, the 22-year-old ABS-CBN actress says it was only later that she realized she could do the same with her skin care.

In an interview via Zoom last November 17, 2021, the Kapamilya talent explains, "Kasi, parang akala natin dati parang 'more more' maganda, e.

One of the many reasons Loisa stopped doing the 10-step skin-care trend is that there's really no need to apply every product she has on a daily basis.

Loisa, who was launched as Clinque's new ambassador with boyfriend Ronnie Alonte, continues, "Minsan parang ang bigat na ng face ko, e, skin care lang naman ito. Yung parang...mali pala yung ginagawa ko.

LOISA'S PASSION FOR ALL THINGS BEAUTY

Loisa's passion for all things beauty started at an early age.

In fact, she was in her grade-school years when she started learning about make-up.

She recalls, "Mga ano ako, mga elementary, kasi si mama, nakikita ko siyang nagme-make-up, so pag wala na siya, pinapakialaman ko yung mga make-up niya, ginagamit ko din.

"'Tapos, doon ko nalaman na, 'Hala! Love ko yung pagme-make-up, ganyan.'"

Her passion for make-up grew more when she officially joined showbiz. Loisa first appeared on TV as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: All In in 2014.

She adds, "Bata pa lang ako, sobrang hilig ko din sa make-up.

It was only later when she realized that make-up and skin care have a direct effect on each other.

One advice she would probably give to her younger self is take off her make-up before she sleeps at night.
