GMA-7 actor Dennis Trillo unquestionably stands as one of the most handsome actors in the local entertainment scene.
It comes as no surprise that he is consistently praised for his good looks.
Does he feel any pressure from this?
"Wala naman," shared the 42-year-old Kapuso actor to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press in an interview on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
The interview followed Dennis's official signing as the newest ambassador of the skin-care brand Hey Pretty Skin.
Continuing this statement, Dennis expressed that he doesn't really dwell on these comments or let them affect him.
He said, "Siguro kung hindi mo naman masyadong iisipin yun, hindi ka mape-pressure.
"Ako yung tao na hindi masyadong nag-iisip nung mga ganung bagay.
"Kaya hindi ako nagpapa-pressure sa mga ganyan."
JENNYLYN MERCADO'S INFLUENCE
Many men show less interest in skin care compared to women, although this perception has been evolving over the past few years.
For Dennis's part, he concedes that he, too, didn't focus too much on skin care and his flaws—whether they're wrinkles or gray hair—until his wife Jennylyn Mercado told him to have his own grooming routine.
He said, "Noon, hindi naman. Pero siyempre... actually, ang nakakapansin niyan palagi si Jen, e.
"Sinasabi niya, 'O kailangan mo mag-treatment, kailangan mo na dalasan yung ganito, alagaan ang skin mo.'
"So okay naman kasi siyempre, ano yun, e, constructive criticism. So para yun ma-improve, and, siyempre, yun yung way niya para mag-alaga rin."

Furthermore, Dennis admitted to trying out Jennylyn's beauty products.
He said, "Ayun, marami rin siyang sine-share ng mga products na yun, tina-try ko rin."
Dennis added, "Kaya maganda yung balat niya, e. So siguro, kung effective sa kanya, ita-try ko rin sa akin."
DENNIS TRILLO: LOW-MAINTAINANCE SKIN CARE
When asked about his skin-care routine, he stressed the importance of getting enough sleep and staying positive.
He said, "Para sa akin, importante yung sleep. Kailangan kumpleto yung tulog mo, yung pahinga mo. Kapag nagtrabaho ka, kailangan mabawi mo rin ng pahinga.
"Tapos, yun, katulad ng sinabi ko kanina. Yung positive outlook sa buhay.
"Kailangan lagi kang positive, lagi kang masaya, para mag-reflect yun sa itsura mo, sa buong attitude mo, sa buong pagkatao. And makikita rin yun sa skin."
What skin-care products does he use?
He did not specify the brands, but his major requirement is that it won't damage his skin.
One thing he also never fails to do before he goes to sleep: Remove his make-up after work.
"[Sa] products naman, kailangan lang... Ako, yung mga hindi masyadong harmful sa balat.
"Kailangan lang linisin mo siya [yung face] kapag magpapahinga ka na. Lalo na sa trabaho namin lagi naka-make-up, so kailangan hilamos bago matulog.
"Siguraduhing malinis bago ka tuluyan na magpahinga."
