When her showbiz boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed marriage—in scenic Boracay, no less—Dianne Medina was the happiest girl on Earth. Their engagement was 10 years in the making, after all.

"Ikaw, as a babae, parang you're worried. Mas lalo na that I'm not getting any younger," the 30-year-old actress/host told PEP.ph, admitting that the long wait had her getting anxious at times. But she knew that it was bound to happen "in God's perfect time," and of course, she was right.

The celebrity couple has revealed that they are planning a December 2019 wedding to give them enough time to prepare. But even though it's still over a year away, Dianne is making sure her skin is in tiptop shape with a glow-getting skin care routine—one that doesn't break the bank, too! The bride-to-be shares her affordable skin care faves:

Beauty pick #1: kojic-acid soap

Dark, blemished skin is a no-no for brides, so Dianne keeps her complexion radiant and even-toned with EB Naturals Skin Lightening Kojic Soap (PHP 33). It lightens skin with continuous use sans any drying effect. Aside from reducing the appearance of dark spots, it also smoothens skin with a gentle exfoliating action.

Beauty pick #2: sunflower oil

A versatile, all-around product, this 100% sunflower oil from EB Naturals (PHP 140) can be used as a cleanser, moisturizer, acne fighter, anti-ager, and even hair conditioner. Dianne makes sure she has this in her purse all the time—just a few drops is all she needs to give her skin (and hair) a pick-me-up!

Beauty pick #3: vitamin E lotion

No news yet on what Dianne plans to wear on her big day, but she's all about keeping her skin smooth and supple—especially since there's bound to be lots of hugs and hand-holding! She keeps her complexion soft and healthy with this lightweight, non-sticky lotion from EB Naturals (PHP 110) that drenches skin with nourishing vitamin E.

Ultimately, Dianne says that she's not going to be "maarte" about her wedding, on one condition: "As long as happy lang yung wedding. As long [as] yung purpose, nandun."
