The interesting detail in Joyce Pring's wedding ensemble was her choice of footwear.

Underneath her wedding gown was a pair of boots.

And her reason was not just because of comfort.

In her Instagram post, Joyce said the pair was a witness to her then-budding romance with now-husband Juancho Trivino.

She recounted, "Juancho and I first did Unang Hirit (and many consecutive episodes together after,) I would always be wearing this particular pair.

Her wedding gown was designed by Liz Martinez.

Joyce gushed on Instagram: "My dress was made by Israeli designer @lizmartinezbridal whose whimsical bridal designs took my breath away when I first tried them on in New York.

"Thank you Liz for the most perfect wedding dress, it even has POCKETS. It was really made for me."

Designer Rica Siena provided the embellished veil.

Make-up artist Gela Laurel and hairstylist Jerry Javier made up the bridal glam team.
