Marvin Agustin's sons are now teenagers.
His sons Santi and Seb turned 15 on August 15, 2020.
To commemorate their birthday, the actor-entrepreneur took to Instagram with a post that showed a throwback photo of his sons as babies, and a photo of their 15th birthday celebration.
Marvin admitted that he continues to second-guess his skills as a father, but this is not something the boys need to worry about.
Instead, he hopes they would focus on figuring out life on their own terms.
He said in his post, "I don't know what's best for you boys, kasi ang buhay nyo ay laban nyo.
The proud father also said he wanted his sons to get to know themselves, to pursue their own happiness, and to bring joy into the lives of others.
He ended his message by thanking the twins for making him a father.
"Happy birthday handsomes! She will translate in English"
DIFFERENT KIND OF FAMILY SETUP
Santi and Seb are Marvin's sons with ex-girlfriend Tetet Dy, the daughter of former Isabela governor Faustino Dy.
The boys are actually fraternal twins, but people have always thought they are identical.
Magazine on its December 2006 issue.
"Nagkataon lang na pareho silang lalaki. Pero fraternal sila."
As for Tetet, Marvin described her as "worrier."
He told YES! on the same issue: "Konting madapa, natataranta.
Santi and Seb grew up experiencing the love of their parents even if Marvin and Tetet separated when they were one-year-old babies.
Magazine in another interview, this time in June 2007.
The twins were two months away from turning two years old then.
There were times when Marvin and Tetet found themselves single, but they still prefered to be "very, very good friends."
Marvin told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in July 2012: "Hindi na nga natin nabigyan ng perpektong… or iyong set na the usual, huwag na nating pahirapan pa ang buhay nila.
"That’s what we promised with each other, we will remain friends."
