"Thank you for being my real-life leading man. My main man."
These were the words that Kris Bernal, 32, used to describe her husband Perry Choi, 37.
The couple exchanged I do's at St. Alphonsus de Liguori Church in Magallanes Village, Makati City, this Saturday, September 25.
It was Kris's dream for her wedding day to be filled with her favorite sunflowers, and events stylist Gideon Hermosa made it possible.
In a span of roughly an hour or so, Gideon decorated the church with beautiful sunflower blooms.
Here's a look at the facade of the church with the back view of the bride minutes before she walked down the aisle:
To match her wedding motif, Kris arrived at the church in a yellow Toyota FJ cruiser.
Kris was all smiles when she finally entered the church.

She looked perfect in her Swarovski-embellished semi-ball gown made by designer Mak Tumang.
It emphasized her 23-inch waistline.
But Kris soon turned emotional as she took the steps leading to the man she waited so long to spend her forever with.
In her vlog last night, Kris said, "I've always dreamed of someone to cook for, someone to share my food with, and someone I can drink with, and even show how crazy I can possibly be.
"Like my favorite romcoms and all the teleseryes I start with, the leading man came along unexpectedly."
She kept crying even when she was escorted by her parents Edgardo and Analyn Bernal.

The yellow blooms made a beautiful contrast to Kris's white wedding trail.
According to Kris, she and Perry wanted a Catholic wedding ceremony because both of them come from religious families.

Perry and Kris read their Catholic wedding vows to each other.
By the time the wedding ceremony was underway, Kris was no longer in tears.
She went back to being her usual bubbly self as she interacted with Perry and the presiding priest.
Kris couldn't stop smiling as she approached the priest for the signing of the marriage certificate.
Kris and Perry exchanged a sweet kiss the after the ceremony.
Kris looked very happy now that Perry is finally her husband.
In a video message she dedicated to him last night, Kris said, "Being with him keeps me alive. His eyes, his smile, his touch... Everything about him makes me fall deeply, madly in love."
Kris's father Edgardo and mother Analyn also joined the couple for the photo-ops.

Relatives of the groom:
From the initial 150 guests, Kris trimmed down the relatives and friends that she and Perry invited to roughly 60 people due to the pandemic.
Kris would always say that Perry is her complete opposite.
In her recent vlog, she said: "Hindi siya talkative like me. He's not even brand conscious. Ako yung talagang lahat puro kaartehan! Binuhos lahat sa akin ni Lord lahat ng kaartehan.
"Kahit ako, at times, nakaka-bad trip pagka-quiet niya. But then, if you really love a person, tanggap mo lahat."
But even if Perry was usually camera-shy, he gamely posed for the camera for this special day.
Kris waved her bridal bouquet when she and Perry exited the church.
Then they went to the bridal car that would take them to Conrad Manila hotel in Pasay City.
Here's a last look at Kris and Perry who told PEP.ph that they will be taking a chopper ride for their wedding-day pictorial.
