Dimples Romana is blessed to have such good friends in Angel Locsin and Bea Alonzo.
On Tuesday night, June 7, 2022, Angel and Bea threw a Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower for Dimples. The event was held at the Concept Space Manila in Quezon City.
The next day, Angel uploaded their group photo on Instagram and revealed that she and Bea had to ghost Dimples just so they wouldn't spoil their surprise for her.
She wrote in the caption (published as is), "Suprise baby shower for our mars @dimplesromana [emojis] I hope napasaya namin siya at nakabawi for ghosting her para hindi lang kami mabuking [emojis]
"Thank you to everyone who came! [emojis]"
Angel also thanked Bea for co-organizing the event with her, as well as those who came and participated in their surprise.
The Kapamilya actress continued, "Mounting a babyshower takes a village [emojis] so I would like to thank @beaalonzo for co-organizing this event with me [emojis] along with @papaboyetonline @wengcorpus and of course to our team who made this celebration extra special!
"Everything’s so beautiful and well thought!"
Bea, too, had fun putting up the surprise party for her bestie.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, "A celebration that is definitely one for the books! [emoji]
"Yesterday, we had a baby shower to honor baby Elio! And we had so much fun! Buti na lang, successful ang surprise kay @dimplesromana! [emoji]
"Thank you so much @therealangellocsin @boyetahmee @whengcorpuz for all your efforts to make this party possible! [emoji]"
Meanwhile, Dimples took to Instagram to thank her two good friends.
Part of her caption read, "These two [emojis] @therealangellocsin @beaalonzo [emojis] How did I become this blessed to have the most amazing friends/ sisters in this lifetime [emojis]"
She added, ""Mahal na mahal na mahal ko kayong dalawa.
"And to everyone who made time to be part of the Baby Shower Surprise and made tonight one of the most memorable nights of our family’s life, SALAMAT [emojis]
"To those who weren’t able to make it but were also in on the surprise, THANK YOU! I love you all so so much [emojis]"
In the comments section of her post, Bea replied, "Love you for forevs!! [emojis]"
Angel echoed Bea's comment and wrote, "Love you sooo much [emoji]"

Dimples' husband Boyet Ahmee and their kids Callie and Alonzo were present at the baby shower.
Other celebrities who were spotted at Dimples' surprise baby shower were Angel's husband Neil Arce and Bea's boyfriend Dominic Roque.
Dimples also had a mini-reunion with her One More Chance (2007) and A Second Chance (2015) co-stars Janus del Prado and Ahron Villena.
Bea portrayed the lead role of Basha in both films, while Dimples portrayed the role of her best friend Krizzy.
Dimples' Viral Scandal co-star Kaila Estrada, Kadenang Ginto actor Adrian Lindayag, celebrity couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles, and ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes also joined the celebration.
On Friday, March 18, 2022, Dimples announced that she and her husband are expecting their third child.
On Sunday, March 27, 2022, the soon-to-be family of five held a gender reveal party, where it was announced they are having a baby boy.
The couple already picked the name Elio for their baby.
