Shortly after all the celebrities made their way to the red carpet of the first-ever GMA Thanksgiving Gala Night at then Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La The Fort, BGC, Taguig City, Saturday, July 30, 2022, standout celebrities took home special awards!
For the pioneer edition of the event, the Kapuso network's brightest stars and their VIP guests donned Old Hollywood-themed red carpet OOTDs.
Among the standouts is Rhian Ramos who took home the Frontrow Female Icon award. Rhian paid tribute to the roaring '20s in her Great Gatsby-inspired OOTD.
Rhian's male counterpart, Marco Gumabao, looked dashing in his all-white ensemble. He took home the Frontrow Male Icon award.
Voltes V: Legacy actor Miguel Tanfelix and Sparkle actress Sofia Pablo were hailed TikTok Crowd Favorites.
Bianca Umali was the only Kapuso star who took home not just one, but two special awards: Belo Beauty of the Night and Beautederm Scene Stealer Award.
The Kapuso network's Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, on the other hand, took home the Couple of the Night Award.
Meanwhile, Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara were named Sparkle Love Team of the Night.
Red carpet-favorite Heart Evangelista was named Glamorous Star of the Night. Heart attended the gala with husband Senator Chiz Escudero.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards and Sanya Lopez were picked as the Sparkle Stars of the Night.
GMA Network organized the gala night to celebrate the network's 72nd anniversary.
The gala night also doubled as a fund-raising event for the Kapuso Foundation's classroom reconstruction projects. One of the beneficiaries is the Typhoon Odette-stricken Magallanes Elementary School on Limasawa Island in Leyte.
