Rochelle Pangilinan promised she won't cry on her wedding day.
When she walked down the aisle yesterday, August 8, 2017, she was smiling and tried her best not cry.
But when she delivered her vows, she got a bit teary-eyed.
She thanked his groom Arthur Solinap for loving her unconditionally, and promised five things.
Rochelle said, "Bhe, mahal kita noon pa.
"Eight years in the making ang relasyon natin.
"Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
"I promise to make our relationship a priority. I promise to support you in good and bad times.
"I promise to make our marriage life exciting.
"I promise to be the best that I can be as your wife and as a mom to our future children.
"I promise to say I love you every morning and night before we sleep.
"I promise to give you my everlasting love until the day I die."
Known for being shy, Arthur had to pause for a few minutes before reciting his vows.
The guests laughed.
But once he started talking, he had everyone believe in destiny.
With his voice shaking, he said, "Bhe, this is it. Happy Anniversary. Happy 9 years.
"We’ve been through a lot. A lot.
"Good times, bad times, but thank you pa rin sa bad times dahil marami siyang inayos sa akin/sa atin for the better.
"Mas naging malapit tayo kay God ngayon.
"Thank you for not giving up on me. You’re really God’s gift to me.
"Kaya pala dito ako sa Manila pinag-aral at maging Abztract Dancer at actor para makilala kita.
"Lahat ‘to nakaplano and sobrang thankful ako dahil ikaw yung gift niya sa akin.
"I promise I will be the best husband and spiritual leader sa magiging family natin.
Pero dahil sa tawa and tears of joy.
"Kapit lang tayo always kay God. I love you very, very much!"
The couple left everyone who came to Los Arboles, Tagaytay City, in tears.
GRATEFUL TO PARENTS. Meanwhile, Victory Christian Fellowship's Pastor Noel Nañez said Rochelle and Arthur requested that the wedding ceremonies will include a thank-you portion for the couple's parents.
Rochelle's dad Rodolfo died 10 years ago, so during her bridal march, her bouquet had a locket bearing her dad's photo.
She was accompanied by her mom Baby.
The Kapuso actress said, “Thank you Nay sa pagpapalaki mo sa akin. Thank you sa pagsuporta mo sa aming magkakapatid.
"Wala man si Tatay, alam kong nandito siya. Pero thank you… sa lahat-lahat.”
Arthur, who grew up in Iloilo, also tearfully thanked his parents, Boy any Yeyed.
“Ma at Pa, thank you sa unconditional love, patience, undying support.
"At saka, magpalakas kayo lagi.
"I love you…”
GRATEFUL TO GUESTS. It was a rainy Tuesday, yet, a lot of their celebrity friends trooped to Tagaytay.
Rochelle was touched.
During the reception, she remarked, "Super thank you.
Art added, “Thank you sa inyo kasi nag-stay kayo at nag-travel. Importante kayong lahat sa amin ni Rochelle.”
How many kids are they planning to have?
The two answered at the same time.
"Five," said Arthur.
For her part, “Dalawa lang.”
