Josh Santana, the interpreter of Meteor Garden's Tagalog theme song, is now a licensed doctor. The former ABS-CBN singer passed the Physician Licensure Examination held last March 4, 2018.

Remember Josh Santana?

He was the interpreter of the Tagalog version of Meteor Garden's official theme song "Qing Fei Di Yi."

This singer-actor, who used to be the love-team partner of Carol Banawa, is now a licensed doctor.

Josh, Michael Alexander Pamular in real life, posted on Instagram a screengrab of his name on the list of successful examinees in the Physician Licensure Examination.

In his caption, the singer looked back to his early beginnings as a singer.

He wrote, "I was overwhelmed by so much happiness last night.

"And I didn't know what to say or what to post.

"There are a lot of people that I need to thank that this page may not be enough.

"Again, none of this would be possible without God's approval.

"During the exam, I felt Him beside me reminding me to trust in myself.

"He has made me His warrior. And that I had everything I needed to answer the questions.

"It was the strongest connection I felt with Him ever. Thank you Lord.

"You've let me witness so many miracles in my life.

"From my achievements as a kid, to my showbiz stints.

"To 2 Gold Record awards as a recording artist, and now this.

"When I prayed to you I said, Your will be done. I didn't pray to pass.

"I trusted that If ever I failed, I know I'll be alright.

"Because even failing will not change my love for you.

"But you wanted me to pass. Thank you. This is more than anyone could ask for.

"You've always given me my heart's desire.

"And for that I shall always aim to give back by helping people who'd need me.

"As you've helped me when I needed you.

"I thank my whole family for the support.

"And I also apologize for my absence in most family occasions.

"I thank my friends who made this journey so much easier to take.

In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) published in November 2017, Josh recalled how he decided to leave show business in 2012 to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor.

He said, "I studied for NMAT and unexpectedly got a very good score. I took it as a sign for me to enter Med School.

"So I did! Last December 2016, I was conferred a Doctor of Medicine degree by my Alma Mater FEU-NRMF."

As a recording artist, Josh also revived Dingdong Avanzado's hit "Basta't Kasama Kita," which became the theme song of Judy Ann Santos and Robin Padilla's teleserye of the same title in 2003.

As an actor, he was paired with former singer-actress Carol Banawa in the Kapamilya teleserye Bituin, which aired from 2002 to 2003.

His last TV appearance was in 2016 when he performed on ASAP's "ASAPinoy" segment.
