The four-year relationship of Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford culminated into a grand wedding held early today, April 20, at Balesin Island Club in Polilio, Quezon.
The ceremony started around 3:30 in the afternoon, and was held at the Costa del Sol Village found in the luxury private resort.
Meanwhile, their wedding reception is currently happening at The Royal Villa.
THE BRIDE. Coleen walked down the aisle wearing a custom-made Galia Lahav wedding dress.
The bride and her stylist and BFF, Adrianne Concepcion, picked up the gown at Trinity Bridal Boutique in Hong Kong last March.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Coleen described the gown she picked.
"It doesn't have to be the prettiest, the most stunning piece of clothing I own or anything. I just want it to be me.
"Kasi kahit gaano kaganda yung gown, if it's not suited for me, it's not gonna fit my personality, it's not gonna [be a] fit for the wedding."
Meanwhile, her glam team included Renz Pangilinan for hair and Pong Niu for makeup.
Coleen also wore a pair of white Christian Louboutin pumps.
Event stylist and florist Gideon Hermosa prepared Coleen's all-white bridal bouquet, and decorated the venue with pastel-colored flowers.
He wrote on Instagram, "@coleen is holding a classic bouquet of stephanotis and pieries japonica to match her @galialahav custom gown:)"
THE GROOM. Billy looked dapper in his dark brown suit by Edwin Tan.
Aimee Marie Alcaraz-Grey was in charge of grooming.
THE ENTOURAGE. Billy's parents, Jack Crawford and Mayette Ledesma, and Coleen's parents, Jose Garcia and Maripaz Magsaysay, were all present at the wedding.
The groomsmen included Kris Lawrence, Jay-R, Eric Tai, Jugs Jugueta, Vhong Navarro, and Marcus Davis Jr., among many others.
Meanwhile, the bride's entourage, aka "bride squad," included Janina Manipol, Lizzie Lecaroz, Matteo Gancayco, Lyn Martinez, Christiana Collings, film director Gino M. Santos, Renz Pangilinan, and Adrianne Concepcion.
Coleen picked ABS-CBN actress Ria Atayde as her Maid of Honor.
The couple's ninongs and ninangs included Dr. Steve Mark Gan, Kim Atienza, Karla Estrada, Amy Perez-Castillo, Sharon Cuneta, and Dra. Vicki Belo, among many others.
THE WEDDING. Ycoy Sitchon of La Belle Fête Weddings & Events did the full planning with Ria.
On Instagram, the planners shared a photo of the couple and their inspiration for the wedding.
Ycoy wrote, "For Billy and Coleen’s wedding, we came up with finely curated details. Key words: dreamy, light, fresh.
"We thought of the softest hues and meshed them with the lushest elements."
My Metro Photo was in-charge of the couple's official wedding photos. Meanwhile, Bob Nicolas handled the video.
The couple's wedding invitations, according to Ycoy, "gathered idyllic materials such as vellum paper, plant dyed silks, gold wax seals and gilded ink."
They were sent a couple of days before the wedding.
The venue's styling was inspired by the French Riviera, the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France.
Gideon wrote on Instagram, "Lush, luxe, and love.
"Inspired by French Riviera with 'lush' details juxtaposing intricate installations, this set up spells dreamy and ethereal wrapped into one concept.
"With 'luxe' mirror flooring and whimsical florals, this is the definition of 'love.'"
Gideon also used pastel colored roses, gladiolus, hydrangeas, gypsophila, boat orchids, stock flowers, and eucalyptus leaves, among many others.
On Thursday, April 19, Billy revealed on his Instagram stories that they forgot to buy the wedding rings.
He said, "So, we’re all set. Everything is ready for the big day. But we forgot one thing… To buy the rings."
Billy managed to get a lovely pair of wedding bands before flying out of Manila.
