South Cotabato women farmers produce eco bags from rice straws
Apr 7, 2021

The pandemic has limited the movement of goods in the country, making work as a farmer much more difficult than it already is.

After harvest season, rice straws were usually burned and that wasn't good for the environment.

A member of PALAI then suggested recycling the straws and turning them into eco bags.
