Pero after one year, nag-shift siya sa Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Kuwento ni Loi nang makausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last March 13, 2023 via Facebook Messenger, “I graduated last May 2020 at the University of the Visayas-Toledo Campus.
“I always knew to myself that I loved being around kids, but it was during my college years that I realized my interest in learning more about early childhood education.
“It is just something I am passionate to learn about.”

Ayon kay Loi, “Yung challenges ko po during college years was mainly about finding and knowing myself better.
“During my first year in college, I felt lost and I wasn’t sure anymore if tama yung mga desisyon ko regarding the program I enrolled to, kasi parang nawala yung interest ko in learning, unlike before.”
“At first, it was like a hard pill for me to swallow, na I am not doing good academically anymore.
“I also lost my scholarship and privileges because of that decision.”
“I was able to see the bigger picture na parang na-lift yung dark clouds from my sight.
“I just knew that I am finally where I am supposed to be.”
Ang ikinatuwa naman niya sa kanyang sarili, “I did not allow myself to be discouraged with those temporary disappointments or setbacks in life.
“I was humbled and I also learned more about life because of those experiences.”
“It was during college also that I was able to learn more about how important keeping balance in our lives is; to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually."
Ang isa sa naging outlet niya, “My love for creating art also made the journey fun.”

“Very big help that I found a good online review center po to refresh the concepts.”
Aminado siyang nahirapan sa board exam.
“I have a subject that I really considered as my weak spot ever since I was in high school, and that’s mathematics, which is included in the LET.”
Para mapaghandaan ito, “I really doubled my effort in studying this subject.”
“My goal is to have it as my first and last take in LET dahil sa new guidelines to be implemented by Professional Regulation Commission for the succeeding LET takers.
“That was the last exam for students like us who are under the old curriculum, kasi bago na yung table of specifications na gagamitin for the next batch.”
“It was an overwhelming news kasi to have.
“Recalling the scenario, pumunta po yung mga friends ko sa bahay namin at midnight to inform me of the results.
“I am very clueless kasi I wasn’t checking it dahil may lagnat po ako during that time kaya natulog po ako nang maaga.”
“As well as to all my students. I’ll try to learn more so I can teach them more also.”

“And I am planning to take my Master’s, hopefully within this year.”
“Always keep going. You can take a pause whenever needed, but don’t quit.”
“Either way, the journey is worth taking.”
Paalala pa ni Loi, “A grateful heart also helps a lot when life becomes too hard sometimes.”
