This guy makes a career of wooing his crush, submits resumé to show he's worthy

Girls like guys who make them laugh. Spoken word artist Ian Christopher Sudiacal does it better using wit and creativity to win the girl of his dreams.

Guys usually do it with chocolates and flowers when they go a-courting.

Certainly, there are other ways of showing a girl she's special, but a curriculum vitae?

Only someone with a turn of mind like spoken word artist Ian Christopher Sudiacal would take the word "apply" literally for the task of wooing the girl of his dreams.

In a Facebook post early Saturday morning, July 1, Ian shared his experience on how he got in as suitor of his crush, Karla Mae Cantillano.

Ian handed her his resumé, complete with a cover letter and a wallet-sized photo, to apply as the boyfriend of his crush.

His sweet and witty gimmick so far has garnered more than 2,000 likes on Facebook.

Another thing, girls like guys who make them laugh.

On this credential alone, the 22-year-old Mass Communications graduate was already in even before he found the courage to submit his application to Karla after their midnight snack.

He first put on the blazer he brought with him, like any regular job interviewee.

"NOTE: Walang litrato nung naka-coat na ako and the interview part. Intense, e. Nanginginig talaga ako, mehn."

Ian related the happy ending to his story:

Or worst, hindi ma-hire.

TARA, LIFE! HANDA NA AKO!"

Ian also posted few photos from their "job interview" and this was Karla's reaction when  she received his cover letter and resume:

Talking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Ian said it took him some time to find a perfect match after a failed relationship many years ago.

Ian said, "After my last relationship, lumipas ang maraming taon bago ako muling naka-connect with someone and that was her. We are both into spoken word poetry and are both spoken word artists.

"When I felt that we connect and know I feel something else already, besides the fact na crush ko talaga siya, I thought of a way to be different— different in way that she'll know it was well thought out as we are both into writing din and will make her laugh.

"Para kapag umamin din akong gusto ko siya, bukod sa shock siguro, is ma-level kumbaga nung nilalaman nung cover letter and CV."

He added, "It took me one Thursday night. Pero noong nagsimula ng nalaman kong iba na yung nararamdaman ko for her, basta kapag may naisip ako, isini-save ko na sa phone ko. Bale it took me one night to put them all together."

Ian also clarified that he only had one aim that night: to express his feelings for Karla.

"That I'm dead serious about her and I am a fun to be with."
