Markki Stroem has added entrepreneur to his credentials, having venturied into an “inclusive” clothing brand called Evry.

During the lockdown, the singer-host made use of his time to start a business.

Markki told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Evry stemmed out from the word Every.

"This is designed for everyone who needs it whether for work, workout, or everyday wear.”

New in the retail fashion industry, the contemporary crooner has teamed up with friend Wesley Que and other entrepreneurial friends to make Evry happen.

He recalled, “I met Wes and the rest of the partners through other business ventures, and found that we worked well together.

"We realized that we all had a passion for wearing plain T-shirts, with good quality.”

According to Markki, they've come with a variety of designs for their shirts.

He said, “We provide different colors and different fits to suit your needs. If you want it a bit fitted for work or if you want it loose for a more comfy fit, we got you covered!”

Markki is particularly proud of the "soft and breathable material" of the shirts, the result of his three-month search for the perfect fabric.

He described Evry shirts as "custom formulated from very high quality materials."

Markki added with confidence, “As our brand name states, we are Evry and we are for everyone, all shapes and sizes. EVRYone is welcome to try our comfortable shirts.”

His partner Wesley threw in, “Evry started when we couldn’t find a good plain shirt that was good enough for us to wear every day, that was comfortable and flexible while still being stylish and classy.”

The price tag: PHP 800.

For the makers of Evry, the brand is more than just a business.

Markki said, “We believe that our brand will also help benefit a few people who have lost their jobs because of the pandemic, and the tragic loss of jobs because of the ABS-CBN shutdown.

"We hope we can and as the popular hashtag would say, #SupportLocal.”

Wesley affirmed.“It’s our conviction to have our products made locally as much as possible, because ultimately we’re building this brand to help,”

The brand will hold its media launch on March 20, 2021.
