Travel and lifestyle vlogger Rei Germar is known to her followers for her designer clothes and bags.
But unlike some social media fashionistas, Rei is not embarrased to be seen repeating her outfits.
The 25-year-old YouTube vlogger said, "Of course! For me, clothes aren't disposable. It's so bad for Mother Earth for you to dispose lang your clothes.
"So, yeah, I repeat my outfits! Siyempre, bikinis also kasi basic colors lang naman yun, e, kaya I repeat them."
Rei spoke to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the Klook Philippines relaunch at the Palacio de Memoria in Parañaque City on Friday, March 4, 2022.
Rei also explained it's been her wont to repeat her outfits for the simple reason she didn't know how to style herself.
"Actually, I'm not super concerned about that. Like, if you've seen me wearing this already, you'll probably see me wearing the same set of clothes in the next two months.
"And I'll be okay with it. Kasi my followers know that I'm not the best when it comes to styling and I love buying clothes, I love fashion.
"But sometimes, it stresses me out to think na parang, 'How do I upstyle this?' Or what.
"Ako, meron akong bad habit na, if I have worn this pants with a specific top, next time I see the pants, yun na lang ulit yung top ko."
Rei confided she's been drawing inspiration from GMA-7's Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista, citing the actress's devil-may-care fashion sense.
"Lately, Heart has been inspiring me a lot. Kasi di ba her fashion is very... it's not what you usually see out there.
"She mixes a lot of prints, and she explores. So my takeaway from her is as long as you're comfortable in it, like, girl, parang panindigan mo lang, ganun.
"It really depends on how you feel, how you carry yourself. So Heart is such a big influence sa akin.
"Kasi before, kapag may bg events, I would cry, I would ask help from professional stylists. But not, I just try to wing it 'tapos papanindigan ko na siya."
